How many game developers can say:
"I made a game for the original Gameboy". Not just something that looks like one, but a REAL Gameboy rom.
This is a simple Flappy Bird clone made with GBDK for the original gameboy.
Made in a week just to test my own mettle.
Thanks to Andres Miranda for the bird, pipes and background art.
The source code is available although it is reaaaaally ugly. Pleases don't look at it

Install instructions
Play directly with the browser emulator or download an emulator and play the rom.
You could also download the rom, put it into a flashcart (like everdrive) and play it on an original Gameboy! (If you do that, pleaaase send footage)

I find "sheep it up" slightly less infuriating. However, the design is great, love the background scroll.
